Nonprofit Fund Audit Mastery
Six weeks to map restrictions, sample draws, and write usage findings that survive board and sponsor questions—practiced inside a financial auditing app for nonprofit fund usage audits.
Learning outcomes
- Convert gift instruments into restriction maps your ledger team can follow.
- Design disbursement samples that target purpose risk, not only amount.
- Document exceptions with evidence tags suitable for sponsor packs.
- Brief boards without overstating assurance or hiding soft controls.
- Operate the Aimachine practice app through a full usage-review cycle.

Syllabus
Modules
Module 1 — Restriction cartography
Read gift letters, amendments, and email trails. Build a living map of purpose, timing, and geographic limits.
Module 2 — Ledger alignment
Match chart-of-accounts codes to restriction nodes. Spot recycled program codes before sampling.
Module 3 — Usage sampling
Select draws by purpose risk. Work vouchers inside the app; tag timing vs. purpose exceptions.
Module 4 — Evidence packs
Assemble invoices, approvals, and narrative notes so a second reviewer can reconstruct your path.
Module 5 — Board & sponsor language
Write findings that distinguish control gaps from one-off mistakes. Practice a dry-run Q&A.
Module 6 — Capstone memo
Ship a full fund-usage memo on a redacted case. Receive written critique from instructors.
Instructor
Minseo Han
Former internal audit lead for a Seoul multi-program foundation. Minseo designed Aimachine’s restriction-mapping method and still critiques capstone memos for Ledger Command cohorts.
FAQ
Practical limits
Is this an assurance certification?
No. Aimachine teaches internal fund-usage review skills. Completing the course does not authorize you to issue external audit opinions.
What software do I need?
A modern browser and access to our practice app (included for the enrollment window). Your production ERP is not required, though bringing redacted exports helps.
Where does the method fall short?
We do not cover specialized fundraising CRM configuration or tax filings. If your primary problem is CRM data quality, start there before sampling draws.
Language of instruction?
Materials and live sessions are in English, with Korea-context examples and optional Korean glossary sheets for board terms.
Learner notes
Reviews of this program
“Module 3’s sampling worksheet is what I still print. The rest of the course was strong; the CRM side-discussion felt thin for our size.”
★★★★★“Capstone critique from Minseo renamed two findings we had softened. Our board noticed the clearer tone.”
